Provider Terms (summary)
The commercial points of the provider agreement. The full agreement is shown and accepted before checkout.
Draft for review. This page is being finalized with counsel and may change before About2Close opens accounts. Questions: hello@about2close.com.
Business access
The territory map and provider tools are for businesses only. To get access you give your legal business name and Employer Identification Number (EIN), your trade, service area and contact details, and you sign the attestations below. Access is provisional until we review it, and nothing is yours until it is verified and paid.
What you attest
- You carry general liability insurance in force for the work you offer.
- You carry workers’ compensation insurance, or your state exempts your business (for example, no employees).
- Every employee has a completed Form I-9 (employment eligibility), or you have no employees.
- You hold every license your state, county or city requires for your trade, and it is in good standing.
- You are bonded where your state, city or the job requires it.
- You will send certificates and license numbers within 3 business days when we or a customer ask.
- You will tell us within 10 days if any of this changes.
False information
A false or out-of-date attestation is grounds to pause or remove your account and end any plan without refund. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless About2Close, its owners, team and partners from claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your work, your bids, your advertising, your employees and subcontractors, and any information you give that is false or misleading.
Verification
We review providers before their first bid and may spot-check documents at any time. Our review is limited and is not a guarantee to anyone. We may pause or remove a provider who breaks these terms.
Plans and billing
- ZIP Code Exclusive bundle: up to 3 ZIP codes in the same market (combined population up to 60,000) × up to 3 trades, $600/month or $6,000/year prepaid. Each additional trade or ZIP: $200/month or $2,000/year. Verified Provider: $99/month or $999/year. Pay-Per-Bid: $9.99/month + $39 per submitted bid. Success-Only: $199 per accepted bid, one per month.
- Plans renew automatically until cancelled. Monthly plans cancel at the end of the billing period.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Renewal, cancellation and refund terms are shown before you pay.
ZIP Code Exclusive
- One active holder per ZIP and trade. A bundle holds up to 3 ZIP codes in the same market (combined population up to 60,000) and up to 3 trades; additional trades or ZIPs are add-ons.
- A first-bid window of up to 24 hours on new cases in that ZIP and trade. When a buyer’s deadline is short, the window shortens so buyers still get bids in time.
- It is not exclusive rights to the work and does not guarantee leads, jobs or awards.
- If a payment fails after three attempts, or the plan is not renewed, the slot is offered to the next provider on deck.
No guaranteed volume
Every plan, bundle, add-on, sponsorship and map pass buys access, not results. About2Close makes no promise about the number of buyers, cases, leads, bids, awards or revenue in any ZIP code, trade or market, including none at all. Fees are not refunded because of low or no activity. You take on the business risk of your plan.
Bids
Bids must be complete: scope, line items, price, timing, warranty, exclusions, license and insurance status, site-visit needs and how long the price is valid. Each bid is labeled as a firm bid or an estimate.
Independent businesses
Providers are independent businesses responsible for their work, permits, licenses and insurance. Agreements for work are between the provider and the customer.
